Woodrow "Woody" Trimble

Age 90, of Kensington, passed away, Monday, Oct. 2, 2023 in the Arbors of Minerva. He was born Jan. 12 1933 in Philippi, WV to Chancy and Edith (Norris) Trimble. He retired from Republic Steel in Canton. He is a US Air Force Veteran having been stationed in Germay. Woodrow loved to garden and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid long distance bike rider until he was 78 years old and loved taking walks in the woods.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Sandra (Shoppe) Trimble whom he married July 28, 1955, 7 children; Allen (Julie) Trimble, Bonnie (Pat) Barbato, Mike Trimble, Rebecca (Charles) Lang, Eric (Sandy) Trimble, David Trimble, Jimmy (Teri) Trimble, 18 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by a son, Robert Trimble and a grandson, David Trimble Jr.

According to his wishes, there will be no formal services.  The family would like to thank the Arbors of Minerva for their excellent care and the Aultman Alliance Hospice for their loving care and compassion as Woody was on his journey.
