Wilson Lee Buxton
Age 74, formerly of Carrollton, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016 in Mercy Medical Center. He was born Oct. 7, 1941 in Summerville, OH to Elmer and Theisa (Morrow) Buxton. He was a beef farmer and had worked at Manfull Fruit Farm in Augusta and Sanor Farms in Homeworth. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He graduated from Augusta High School in 1963.
He is survived by a brother, James (Sherry) Buxton of Swansea, SC, sister-in-law, Dolores Ruby Buxton of Minerva, 32 nieces and nephews, several great nieces and great nephews and special friends, Dave and Sherry Small and son of Carrollton, Gene and Linda Lanham of Carrollton and Joanna Lucas of Carrollton. He is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Donna Marsh, Pauline Grist and 3 brothers, Jack "Shelton", Maynard and Robert Buxton.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 3pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Fort Steuben Estates.
