Wilma M. Guthrie

Age 86, of Salem, died Thursday, July 4, 2019. She was born January 30, 1933 in Bayard to Floyd and Ruby (Swinehart) Robbins. She retired after 50+ years as a beautician and was a member of the New Franklin United Methodist Church. She loved to do hair and work in her flower gardens.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry George Guthrie, who died July 15, 2016; a son, Leslie Allen Guthrie; and a sister, Judy Weber.

She is survived by a daughter, Gwen (Rudy) Rudacille of Salem; 3 sisters, Marjorie Marie Wolfe of Hartville, Genevieve Locke of Lansing Michigan, Ida (Hugo) Chocano of Columbus; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home with Rev. Elaine Weaver officiating. Entombment will be in the Highland Memorial Park in Beloit. Calling hours will be one hour prior to the funeral. Memorial Donations may be made to the Alliance Community Medical Foundation.
