Willis Miller

Age 83, of Minerva, died Friday, April 7, 2017 in his home. He was born Oct. 15, 1933 in Davis County, IN to William and Viola (Wagler) Miller. He was a carpenter/contractor and member of the Minerva Christian Fellowship Mennonite Church.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Alma (Schlabach) Miller whom he married Oct. 25, 1953, 4 daughters, Martha (Gerald) Byers of Chambersburg, PA, Ruth Green of East Rochester, Naomi (Manford) McGrath of Taylorsville, NC, Priscilla (Joseph) Gingerich of East Rochester, 3 sons, David (Judy) Miller of Minerva, Mark (Faith) Miller of Homeworth, Thomas (Dawn) Miller of Minerva, 2 sisters, Roseanna (Ben) Miller of Belle Center, OH, Marjorie Yoder of Guthrie, KY, 23 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Sarah Miller and Mary Catherine Miller.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10:30 am in the Minerva Christian Fellowship Mennonite Church near East Rochester with Joel Gingerich officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the church.
