William J. Zwick Jr.
Age 86, of Minerva, died Sunday, March 6, 2016 in Aultman Hospital. He was born Nov. 20, 1929 in Louisville to William and Delores (Andes) Zwick. He retired from Sugardale and had been a meat cutter and butcher for 30 years. He is a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva and a US Army Veteran of the Korean War.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Eileen (Wey) Zwick who died in 2014, sister, Norma Jean Hiner and a brother, John Zwick. He is survived by 3 daughters, Katherine (Dale) Fausnight of Louisville, Theresa (Paul) Riemenschneider Jr. of Minerva, Charlene (Charles) Debolt of Barnesville, 2 sons, Edward (Darlene) Zwick of Paris, David Zwick of Minerva, 4 sisters, Rose Marie Kinsey of Canton, Mary Lou (Maurice) Bresson of Louisville, Ruth Ann (Gale) Essick of East Canton, Martha Jane (Jeffery) Davis of Minerva, brother, Raymond (Martha) Zwick of East Rochester, sister-in-law, Kristin Zwick of Minerva, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a sister, Norma Jean Hiner and a brother, John Zwick.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be Thursday at 12 noon in St. Gabriel Catholic Church with Fr. Victor Cinson as celebrant. Burial with full military honors will be in Liberty Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
