Bill C. Rine

Age 67, of Minerva, died Sat., Dec. 30, 2017 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born June 12, 1950 in Minerva to the late Robert and Kathryn (Travis) Rine. He worked for R.T.I. Alloys in Canton. He is a member of the Louisville Eagles Aerie #2374. He graduated from Minerva High School in 1969.  He loved spending time with family and friends and was an avid golfer, and softball player.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy (Rock) Rine whom he married May 21, 1977, daughter, Amy (Josh) Campbell of Minerva, two sisters, Peggy (William) Draher of Augusta, Lois (Lee) Smith of Chillicothe, two brothers, Kermit (Kay) Rine of Minerva, Robert Rine Jr. of Minerva, his granddaughter Laney who called him "Papa," they shared a special  bond and the same birthday, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tom & Deb Rock, Patrick & Jeanie Lieser and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by mother and father-in-law, Norma & John Rock, sister and husband, Barbara & Kenneth Lambert, sister-in-law, Carol Rock, nephews, Mike and Matthew Rine, and niece Rhonda Rine.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating.  Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.  Calling hours will be Friday 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
