William R. Mills
Age 52 of Canton died Monday May 30, 2011 at the home of his mother and stepfather in Malvern after an extended illness.  He was born Sept. 4, 1958 in Canton to Rose (Kohl) Pierce of Malvern and the late William Mills. He retired from Barlow World in Greenville, SC.  He graduated from Louisville High School.  He was a baseball and softball coach for many years in SC, attended the Greer Baptist Church in SC, and was an avid hunter and member of the NRA.
In addition to his mother and stepfather Rose and Bob Pierce of Malvern, he is survived by a daughter; Jennifer Mills of Canton South, 5 sons; Jason Mills of Canton Twp., Lonnie Mills of N. Canton, and  Billy, Aaron, and Matthew Mills all of Greer, SC, mothers of his children; Theresa Hoffer of Canton Twp. and Vicki Sirianni of Rochester, NY, a brother; Duane Mills of Canton and two grandchildren; Jaisha Hughes and Owen Boyle, and his faithful friend, Shadow.  He is preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Mills.Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Joel Soza officiating.  Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.  Calling hours will be Friday 6-8 pm and one hour prior to services.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
