Obituary
William "Gino" Dickens, Sr., age 86, of Minerva, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 in Aultman Hospital. He was born Feb. 12, 1927 in Jeffersonville, IN to William M. and Addie Dickens. He retired as a machinist from Baxter Tube in Minerva, is a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War, and a member of the American Legion Post #888 in Delaware, OH and the Minerva FOE Aerie#2199.
He is survived by 3 daughters, Eugenia Stinson, Lisa Johnson and Louann Powell all of Jeffersonville, IN; 2 sons, William E. (Maria) Dickens, Jr. of Pekin, IN, Michael Dickens of Louisville, KY; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his sister Opal.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date in Jeffersonville, IN.
