William P. Davis

Age 86, of Minerva, passed away, Sunday, June 16, 2024 in Aultman Alliance Hospital. He was born March 3, 1938 in Canton to Donald and Erna (Ulrich) Davis. He retired from Zeiger Industries in Canton as a Machinist and had formerly worked for Winter's Industries.  He graduated from Timken High School and is a member of the Louisville Eagles Aerie #2374. He was an avid fan of old cars and loved going to car shows.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Joanne (Marmie) Davis whom she married May 29, 1957, 2 sons, Don (Ann) Davis of Minerva, Doug Davis of Benson, AZ and 2 grandchildren, Andrew and Nancy Davis.

A private family service will be held in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Wayne Scott officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.  Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
