William O. Boyd

Age 55, of Minerva died Thursday, May 25, 2017 in his home. He was born in Glasgow, MT to the late Frank and Joanne (Robinson) Boyd. He worked as a Journeyman Electrician at Westwind Electrical Service and Hydrodec in Canton. He is a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva. He was a US Marine Veteran and graduated from Carrollton High school in 1980.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Gonzales) Boyd whom he married July 4, 1987; daughter, Victoria Boyd of Minerva; son, Josh Boyd of Canton; 5 sisters, Terri (Gary) Hauenstein of Carrollton, Norma Jean (Bill) Dingess of Summerland Key, FL, Tammi (Terry) Fuchs of Ravenna, Trudi Taylor of Carrollton, Sue (Don) Spear of Uniontown; 4 brothers, John (Robin) Boyd of Marietta, Mike Boyd of Carrollton, Rick (Chris) Boyd of Amsterdam, Gary (Rita) Boyd of Dundee.

Following cremation, a mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva with Fr. Victor Cinson as celebrant. Military honors will be conducted at 10:50 am prior to services. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
