W. Lloyd Hays
Age 75, of Minerva, died Sat., April 30, 2016 in St. Lukes Community in Minerva. He was born April 14, 1941 in Salineville to Everett and Janey (Rowley) Hays. He was the chief radiographer for the X-ray dept. for PCC and retired after 50 years of service. He attended Grace Chapel, was a 1959 graduate of Salineville High School. He was an avid golfer and was inducted into the Minerva High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2007.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Jacquelyn (Smith) Hays who died in 2014, brother, Larry Hays. He is survived by a daughter, Barbara Hays of Norfolk, VA, 2 sons, Douglas (Shelley) Hays of Louisvile, Todd (Lynelle) Hays of Huron, sister, Sondra (Gary) Lindesmith of Louisville, brother, Floyd (Judy) Hays of Minerva, granddaughter, Ashley Hays of Kenton and stepgrandson, Jason Shotwell of Findlay.
Funeral services will be Thursday 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home with Rev. Kirt Henman officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday 5-8 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Lukes Community of Minerva or Grace Chapel building fund.
