Wendy K. Yacklin

Age 81, of Paris, passed away Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024. She was born Nov. 21, 1942 in Rolla, ND to the late Gordon and Ethel Mary (Larsen) Kingston.  Wendy attended Bates Community College in Tacoma, WA.  She loved to spend her time doing needlework, crossword puzzles, reading John Grisham novels and her bible. Wendy loved to watch college and professional football and of course a good western on TV.  She enjoyed traveling to the west coast to visit her family and especially enjoyed her vacations to Hawaii with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Henry Yacklin, (died in 1997) whom she married on February 9, 1963.  She is survived by a son, Brett (Kim) Yacklin of Port Angeles, WA, daughter, Christine (Mark) Christman of Paris, two sisters, Anne Danna of Palos Verdes Estates, CA, Sally (Michael) Cassidy of Olalla, WA and two grandchildren, Blake and Brianna Yacklin.

Private family services will be held with burial in Liberty Cemetery in Minerva.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Aultman Hospice. Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at ww.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
