Wayne R. Carman, Sr.

Age 83, of Minerva, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022 in the Arbors of Minerva. He was born June 14, 1939 in Salineville to John and Mildred (Russel) Carman. He retired from PCC Airfoils after 40 years of service. He graduated from Salineville High School in 1957 and loved to golf.

He is survived by his wife, Irene (Beverly) Carman whom he married July 29, 1960; son, Wayne (Kimberly) Carman Jr. of Minerva; sister, JoAnn Lyons of Lisbon; 2 brothers, Nelson Carman of Minerva, Tom Carman of East Liverpool; 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Arlene Grim; sister, Willa Stewart; brother, Larry Carman and a granddaughter, Tori Cataldo.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Matt Doerle officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Saturday one hour prior to services from 1-2 pm at the funeral home.
