Warren "Ben" Brocklehurst, Jr.

Age 68, of Murrells Inlet, SC and formerly of Alliance, Ohio, died July 13, 2021. He was born May 30, 1953 in Cleveland to the late Dr. Warren and Particia (Stark) Brocklehurst. He was an Eagle Scout, a US Army Medical Corpsman and enjoyed teaching, golfing, keeping a perfect yard and most importantly, the company of his family.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Brenda (Conley) Brocklehurst of Murrells Inlet, SC; 3 children, Emily (Richard) Breeze of North Canton, Warren "Brock" (Aubrie) Brocklehurst of Uniontown, and Katie (Anthony Mayle) Brocklehurst of Minerva; 4 granddaughters, Raegan, Scarlett, Skylar and Stella; 2 grandsons, Warren and baby Walker (on the way); sister, Polly (Scott) Jones of Tooele, UT; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many good friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Tom Brocklehurst; sister, Patti Reed; and a nephew, Joey Jones.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Minerva VFW Post 4120. A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, July 23, in Highland Memorial Park in Beloit. Memorial contributions may be made to the family or funeral home for a scholarship fund for the grandchildren.
