Walter E. Gross Jr.

Age 71, of Malvern, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011 in his home. He was born March 9, 1940 in Salineville to Walter and Mildred (Slates) Gross Sr. He was an auto mechanic for several area dealerships and a full time grandfather. He graduated from Minerva High School.

He is survived by a daughter, Debbi Gross of Malvern; son, Doug (Kellie) Gross of Louisville; ex-son-in-law, Nick ElFaye of Canton; 5 grandchildren, Jacob, Stevie, Kaleb, Nicholas and Philip. He is preceded in death by his wife Kitty Gross who died in 1999; 2 sons, Darrell and Dale Gross; sister, Bonnie Campbell and 2 granddaughters, Leigha and Cally Gross and his stepmother who raised him, Nola Gross.

Following cremation a memorial service will be held Thursday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating.
