Walter Fahrni

Age 81, of Minerva passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025. He was born Nov. 19, 1943 in Switzerland to Karl and Freda (Bowman) Fahrni. He was a millwright for the Timken Steel Company for over 30 years. He was an avid woodworker spending his time making various wood projects and just enjoying the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Carla Suzanne (Dombek) Fahrni, a daughter, Jennifer (Dwayne) Hypes of Minerva, son, Mark Fahrni of Akron, sister, Louise Brown of Reynoldsburg, 2 grandchildren;  Cody (Aymee) Hypes, Cheyenne (Dakota Miller) Hypes and 2 great grandchildren, Adleigh and Aiverie.  He is preceded in death by a brother, Karl Fahrni.
