Wadna L. Dillon

Wadna L. Dillon, age 67, of Minerva, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in Aultman Hospital following a short illness. She was born February 3, 1944 in Woodsfield, OH to Leonard and Marie (Crawford) Potts. She was a cook at Palmer's Minerva Bowl for 20 years and had also worked as a nurse's aid at Miller's Nursing Home.

She is preceded in death by her husband Wendell Dillon who passed in 1995 and 2 brothers, Claire and Wayne Potts.

She is survived by her loving companion, Richard Holt of Minerva; 4 sons, Michael Dillon of Minerva, Randy (Janet) Dillon of Augusta, Steve (Shanna) Dillon of Minerva, Brian (Heather) Dillon of Minerva, 3 brothers, Dean (Martha) Potts of Woodsfield, Meredith (Betty) Potts of Marietta, Clyde (Vivian) Potts of Wooster; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor Greg Miller officiating. Burial will be in Augusta Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
