Wade A. Rittenhouse, Age 64, of Minerva, died Sunday, February 14, 2016 in Aultman Hospital. He was born August 17, 1951 in Salem to Charleen (Gorby) Rittenhouse of Minerva and the late Wade Rittenhouse. He retired from the Minerva Post Office after 29 years of service. He was US Army veteran and a former member of the VFW post #4120. He graduated from Minerva High School in 1969 and was a member of the Faith Family Church in Canton.

He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia (Reed) Rittenhouse who died in 2001 and a sister Linda Rittenhouse. In addition to his Mother, he is survived by 4 children, Susan (John) Common of Minerva, Beth (Roy) Berger, Mike (Mickey) Hawkins of Minerva, Scott (Beth) Hawkins of Erie, PA; 2 Sisters, Kathy (Jim) Baus of Fort Myers, FL, Jo Rittenhouse of Phoenix, AZ; 3 Brothers, Rick (Anna) Rittenhouse if Phoenix, AZ, Harry (Kathy) Rittenhouse of Minerva, Jim (Carrie) Rittenhouse of Minerva; 13 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services with military honors will be Saturday at 12 noon in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Burial will be at East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held 2 hours prior to services from 10-12 Sat. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
