Vernon Wireman

Age 74, of Minerva, passed away Tuesday, April 1,2025 in Minerva Healthcare. He was born April 12,1950 in Canton to Jack and Ruth (Wiseman) Wireman. He graduated from Fairless High School in 1969. He was self-employed as a hanger and finisher of drywall for many years. He loved to spend his time fishing, woodworking, bowling or just watching a good western on TV, or a  Cleveland "Indians" baseball game.

He is survived by his wife Geraldine "Dean" (Pennock) Wireman whom he married August 11, 2001, 5 sons, James (Cindy) Wireman of Dayton, TX, Lynn Wireman of West Palm Beach, FL, Brian (Dawn) of Canton, Robert (Angie) LaCaze of Minerva, and Shaun LaCaze of Canton, a sister, Sue Otto of Massillon, 3 brothers, Steve (Georgia) Wireman of Eaton, Tom (Rose Ann) of Las Cruces, NM, and Jack Wireman of Canton, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother Jim Wireman.

Funeral Services will be Saturday at 1:00pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor Randy Payne officiating. Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to service from 11:00 am to1:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
