Vernon A. McCarty

Age 65, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022 at his home in Carrollton surrounded by his family. He was born April 6, 1957 in Canton to James and Darlene (Miller) McCarty of Carrollton.  He was a Welder for Beaver Excavating for 27 years and owned Vern's Portable Welding.

In addition to his parents of Carrollton, he is survived by his wife, Darlene (Brooks) McCarty whom he married Aug. 15, 1992; son, Clinton McCarty of Minerva; 3 stepchildren, Angela Perisic of Carrollton, Christopher Little of Malvern, David Perisic of Minerva; 3 sisters, Shannon (Toby) Davis of Carrollton, Tennie McCarty of Carrollton, Aneissa (Scott) Randal of Carrollton; 3 grandchildren, Benjamin Perisic, Alex (Hunter) Logan, Broc Little; 2 great grandchildren, Ella and Case; niece, Cheyenne (David) Patterson of Columbus; and his best friend, Mattie Mae.
