Trevor Alan Grindstaff, was born on April 19, 2010 at 6:50 p.m. at Aultman Hospital. He moved to his new home on October 14, 2014 at 4:45 p.m., surrounded by his loving family and his hospice family in New Philadelphia, after his fight for life here dwindled away.
Two children were born to the union of Troy Adam and Charity Lynn (Mayle) Grindstaff, Trinity Ann age 6 and Trevor Alan age 4. Trevor was a bright eyed, red headed bundle of continuous joy, in spite of all his medical issues over the years. His smile brought sunshine, even on the gloomiest of mornings. He truly made a sweet impression on all who met him.
Trevor loved Trinity, his big sister, and his angelic guardian. One of his greatest joys was pulling her hair and hearing her squeal. They spent many hours in laughter, while lying on the floor watching TV together. Sponge Bob and Blues Clues were their favorites.
Trevor is preceded in death by the following great-grandparents, Cecil Martin Grindstaff (paternal), Paul Jr. and Lois Maxine Rose (paternal), Fredrick Mayle (maternal), Virgil and Sarah Mayle (maternal).
Those left behind are as follows, immediate family, Troy, Charity and Trinity of Carrollton; paternal grandparents, Cecil Eugene and Cindy Marie Grindstaff of Carrollton; maternal grandparents, Allen Lee and Charlotte Ann Mayle of Minerva; paternal great grandmother, Helene Grindstaff of Carrollton; maternal great grandmother, Christine Mayle of Carrollton; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Trevor will surely be missed, but he will live in our hearts forever.
