Tina (Jordan) Elson, age 52, of Minerva, died Sunday, October 26, 2014 in the Great Trail Care Center following a 2 ½ year courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 25, 1962 in Canton. She was a custodian for the Minerva First Presbyterian Church where she was a member. She graduated from Minerva High School in 1981 and had worked for the Minerva YMCA Childcare for 6 years.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband, Tim Elson; parents, James Jordan of Hartville and Patricia (Paxton) Jordan of Minerva; sister, Melody (Rich) Burchett of Minerva; 3 brothers, Jim Jordan (Robin McGuire) of Minerva, Mike (Jennifer) Jordan of Minerva and Andrew Jordan of Hartville; grandson, Austin Elson; 7 nieces and nephews, Amanda and Lindsay Burchett, James, Samantha, Makenzie, Jessica and Caitlynn Jordan; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 6:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Ben George officiating. Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services.
