Thomas E. Pearson

Age 57, of Massillon and formerly Minerva, passed away Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024 in the Pines of Canton.  He was born March 14, 1966 in Alliance to the late Elwood and Daisy (Sliker) Pearson. He graduated from Eastgate School in Canton and lived at the ViaQuest Group Home in Massillon for many years.  He is a member of the Minerva Methodist Church.

He is survived by a sister, Dawn Carosielli of Canton, many nieces, nephews, cousins and all of his friends and caretakers at the ViaQuest Group Home. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Carolyn Pearson, and 2 brothers, James Morrison and Edward Deward.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Peggy Garner officiating.  Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.  Calling hours will be one hour prior to services from noon to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.  Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
