Thomas M Needham

Age 63, of Minerva, passed away Friday, December 26, 2025, in the Aultman Compassionate Care Center, surrounded by loving family. He was born August 22, 1962, in East Liverpool, Ohio, to the late Sandra (McKee) Needham and John 'Tad' Needham. He was employed for many years at Tip Top Cleaners in Minerva and Blair's Cleaners in Canton. After leaving Blair's he pursued his dream of becoming a heavy equipment operator which he spent the past 25 plus years doing and was most recently employed with Cardinal Asphalt. He graduated from Minerva High School in 1980

His greatest joys in life were spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. He loved his work which he referred to as "playing in the dirt" and having a beer with his buddies. He loved the beach and the summer where he could be outside.

His favorite quote was one from Mark Twain: "The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why." Tom always finished it by saying "the day his girls were born he found his reason."

He is survived by 2 daughters, Amee (Collin) Glasser of Minerva and Jeena Needham of Minerva, and grandchildren Sophee, Pyper, Jamesson, Kennedy, Riley, who lovingly called him "Papa." He is also survived by his brother Doug (Melissa) Needham and nephew Josh and niece Jessica.
