Thomas R. Moore

Age 65, of Minerva, passed away Friday, Jan. 19, 2024 in his home surrounded by his family after an extended battle with cancer.  He was born Aug. 3, 1958 in Ravenna to Patricia (O'Hare) (Moore) Chenoweth of Elkins, WV and the late Paul Moore. He was a utility operator for Howmet Aerospace until he became ill.  He was an avid member of the Columbiana County Chapter of the Ohio Horseman's Council. He was the sitting president for 2023. He also volunteered at the Beavercreek State Park Horsecamp with his wife, Janis. His friendly personality welcomed riders as they came into camp.  He loved camping, sitting around the fire and chatting with family and friends.  He also enjoyed tinkering in the garage, especially doing Auto Body work.

He is survived by his wife, Janis (Bittinger) Moore whom he married Aug. 21, 1989, daughter, Casey Moore of Minerva, son, Justin Moore of Salem his mother, Patricia of Elkins, WV and 2 grandchildren, Danielle and Dominick Jones. He was preceded in death by his father Paul Moore.
