Thomas F. King

Age 77, of Minerva, died Monday, March 17, 2014 in his home.  He was born Aug. 31, 1936 in Canton to John and Alice (Blend) King.  He retired from Republic Steel after 43 years of service.  He is a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva.

He is survived by his wife, Frances (Malone) King whom he married Sept. 29, 1956, 3 daughters; Theresa Hepner,  Sheryl (Jim) Miller and Brenda (Fred) Albaugh all of East Rochester, son, Tom King of Minerva, 6 sisters; Rosemary Karrer of Canton, Lucille Zwick of Louisville, Carol Stegman of Nevada, Beverly (Rich) Salvaterrar of Canton, Kathy Wise of Paris and Jackie King of CA, brother, LeRoy (Mary) King of East Canton, 7 grandchildren; Michael Clark, Katrina (Travis) Smith, Jeremy Hepner, Nicholas Albaugh, T.J. King, Tyler King and Tanor King, 4 great grandchildren; Deisel Ford, Aiden Clark, Xavier Smith, and Penelope Smith (coming in July), several nieces and nephews and good friend, Charles Redleski of Canton.  He is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Robert Hepner, sister, Patricia Radalia and a brother, Eugene King.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Fr. Donald King officiating.  Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.  Calling hours will be Wednesday 5-8 pm at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Aultman Hospice, 2821 Woodlawn NW, Canton, OH  44708.
