Thelma M. Campbell
Age 86 of Minerva died Sunday May 15, 2011 in the Hospice of North Central Ohio in Ashland. She was born June 6, 1924 in Salineville to William and Meda (Stevens) Gross. She worked at the Village Shoe Shoppe in Minerva for many years and is a member of the Minerva United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband James Campbell who died in 1979, a son, Tom Campbell, and 8 brothers and sisters; Helen Olsenowski, Eva Moore, Walter Gross Sr., Otto Gross, Dorothy Slingluff, Florence Whipkey, Naomi Clark and Louise Dungan. She is survived by a son, Larry (Victoria) Campbell of Ashland, sister-in-law, Norma Gross of Minerva, 2 grandchildren; Casey (Samantha) Campbell of FL and Mica Campbell of CA, 2 stepgrandchildren; Stephanie Brocklesby of Galion and Rich Cook of Dayton, and 2 step great grandchildren; Shandi Lozier and Heather Brocklesby.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Ken Lewis officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Ashland.
