Terry V. Carpenter

Age 80, of Carrollton, passed away Friday, Aug. 16, 2024 in Aultman Hospital. He was born Feb. 7, 1944 in Marietta, Oh. to James and Pauline (Jeffer) Carpenter.  He retired from the Timken Company.  He is a US Army Veteran.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Shane (Meek) Carpenter who died in 2019 and 2 brothers, Boyd and David Carpenter.  He is survived by 2 daughters, Monica (John) Shafer of Mechanicstown, Yvonne (Peter) Basco of Massillon, 2 sons, Christopher Carpenter of Canton, James Carpenter of Carrollton, 3 sisters, Kim (Mike) Suteu of Canton, Janet Barton of Willowick, Linda (Charlie) Mayle of Canton, brother, James (Sarah) Carpenter of Carrollton, 9 grandchildren; Matthew, Haley Schaney, Kirstin Slonsky, Terri Carpenter, Jasmin, Caitlynn and Jasper Shafer, Madison, Meghan and Mason Carpenter, as well as great grandchildren; Katerina and Nikolai Slonsky, Mason and Sophie Schaney and Maverick Peterson.
