Terence James "T.J." Myers

Age 43, of Canton passed away Monday, June 30, 2025 in the Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center in Fairlawn. He was born April 19, 1982 in Canton to Darletta (Young) Travis of Canton and James L. Myers of Minerva.  He graduated from Minerva High School in 2001.

In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by 2 sisters, Tara (Troy) Upton of Uniontown, Teresa (Andrew Strzyzynksi) Reed of Louisville, step-sister, Leslie Travis of Massillon, aunts, Elaine VanPelt McDaniel of Greer, SC, Ellen Harsh of Virginia Beach, VA,4 nieces and nephews, Trey and Tia Upton, Codey Reed and Jack strzyzynski and many cousins. He is preceded in death by a step-father, Daniel Travis, and maternal grandparents, George L. and Helen A. Young and aunts, Evelyn Catlett and Eleanor Benedict Douglas.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Joe Faust officiating. Burial will be in Moultrie Chapel Cemetery.  Calling hours will be Saturday one hour prior to services from 9-10 am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses. Special thanks goes out to Dr. Kristine Dziurzynski and her team, the staff at the Justin R.
