Susan "Susie" Confalone

Age 72, of Minerva, passed away Sat., January 8, 2022 in Aultman Hospital following a long term illness. She was born July 14, 1949 in Cleveland to Roger and Betty (Chamberlain) Kirkley. She was a prep cook for Four Winds, and Max & Irma's in the Sheraton Inn for 20 years. She loved to play bingo and cards and work crossword puzzles. Her passion was cooking and she loved her grandkids dearly.

She is survived by her husband, Theodore Confalone whom she married Feb. 4, 1968, 2 daughters, Tina Marie Confalone of Minerva, Sherri (Clyde) McCrae of Canton, 2 sons, Kenneth (Lori) Confalone of Perry, Theodore (Sharynthia) Confalone of Canton, 3 sisters, Patricia (Edward) Minto of Canton, Kathleen Collier of Paris, Judy Dolph of Canton, 4 brothers, Billy Kirkley of New Mexico, Dennis Kirkley of Canton, David Kirkley of Cleveland, Robert Kirkley of Canton, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Roger and Betty Kirkley, 2 brothers, James and Michael Kirkley.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 6:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Calling hours will be Thursday 2 hours prior to services from 4-6 pm at the funeral home. Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
