Obituary
Steven E. Ray, age 62, of East Rochester, passed away in his home on April 29, 2013, following an extended illness. He was born in Canton, Ohio on October 20, 1950 to the late Richard and Shirley (Boehm) Ray. He attended Minerva Local Schools prior to serving in the United States Army. He then went on to become an OTR truck driver.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Penelope; and niece, Stacy Ray.
He is survived by his sister, Bernadine (Fred) Overholt; brothers, Michael and David (Karen) Ray; nephews, Freddy, Jeff, Christopher, Nate and Justin; nieces, Angela, Kimberly, Mikka, Amanda and Rachel; and many great nieces and nephews.
In honoring his wishes, following cremation, there will be a graveside service at Moultrie Chapel Cemetery on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Scott Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the East Rochester Methodist Church.
