Steve S. Erden II

age 54, of Minerva, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022 in his home with his family by his side.  He was born Oct. 16, 1968 in Shinnston, WV.  He is a member of the Carpenter's Union #435 in Cleveland where he had worked for 30 years.  He also owned Erden Construction.  He graduated from Barberton High School and is a member of the Church of the Open Door in Sandyville and the Minerva VFW Post #4120.

There is nothing he loved more in this world than his wife and children. He is survived by his wife, Tana (Newton) Erden whom he married Aug. 28, 2020, mother, Carolyn (Crites) Carr of KY, daughter, Crystal (Russell) Cordia of Magnolia, 3 sons, Nathan Erden of Canton, Eric (Tierra) Erden of Minerva, Garret Erden of Carrollton, stepdaughter, Kaila (Matt) Johnson of IN, 2 stepsons, John Trebec of SC, Jackson Trebec of SC, brother, Dave Erden of KY, 3 stepsisters, Margie (Bob) Hein of Barberton, Pat Stuper of Barberton, Sue (Danny) Clark of WV, stepbrother, Kenny Carr of FL and 16 cherished grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Gene Carr and a stepbrother, Gene "Junior" Carr.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 4:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor Lisa Elliott officiating.  Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services from 2-4 pm at the funeral home.
