Shirley M. Henry
Age 89 of Massillon passed away Sunday June 3, 2012 in her home. She was born Aug. 19, 1922 in Minerva to Harvey and Nellie (Weisner) Gamble. Shirley and her late husband owned and operated Willbob's Restaurant in Minerva from 1944 to 1965. She retired as secretary from Shirley's School of Dance in Canton. She graduated from Minerva High School and is a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Green.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Henry who died in 1982, and a sister, Dorothy Brunt. She is survived by her daughter, Jill (Larry) Clapper of Massillon, two granddaughters; Stephanie (Michael) Cihon of Toledo and Alison (Ervey) Henderson of Chicago, three great grandchildren; Emily Cihon, Logan and Evan Henderson, and a sister, Ruth Phyllis Kibler of FL.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
