Sheryl (Roberts) Tennant, age 55, of Minerva, went home to be with her Savior, Friday, April 7, 2017 in Canton, OH. She was born January 25, 1962 in Canton, OH to Arlajean (Burkhimer) Roberts of Minerva and the late Hap Roberts. She was a Ward Secretary for Alliance Community Hospital and had worked as an Administrative Executive Assistant for the President of the Star Bronze Company in Alliance. She graduated from Minerva High School in 1980 and the Medical Asst. Program through the Alliance Education Center. She was a longtime member of the Carnation City Players, longtime member of the former Minerva Bible Presbyterian Church and was well known for her acting, singing, and her ability as a comedian as well as her love for bluegrass music and was an advocate for homeschooling, the foster parent program and the rights of the unborn.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Doug Tennant whom she married Oct. 16, 1982; 2 daughters, Bethannie and Carrie Tennant; 3 brothers, Larry (Glenda) Roberts, Bob (Debra) Roberts and Clifford Roberts all of Minerva.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 20, 2017 in the Emmanuel Sovereign Grace Fellowship in Louisville.
