Sherri Elton

Age 55, of East Rochester, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2022 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born Nov. 16, 1966 in Alliance to the late Harry and Joy (Monk) Elton Sr. She was a home health care aide.  She loved to play pool and go bowling and dearly loved spending time with family and her grandchildren.

She is survived by 4 children, Jessica (Arsell) Allen of East Rochester, Justin (Emily) Morckel of Minerva, Richard Dinger III of East Rochester, Kenna Morckel of East Rochester, 3 sisters, Patricia (Jared) First of Minerva, Laura Bettis of Minerva, Stacey Jenkins of Kensington, 2 brothers, Jeff (Terri) Elton of Salem, Harry Elton Jr. of East Rochester, 9 grandchildren, Chase, Zayla, Paisley, Piper, Brynlee, Ayvah, Parker, Myles, Adaleigh and her longtime friend, Charles Morckel.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating.  Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.  Calling hours will be Monday 6-8 pm at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
