Sheila Diane Dinger

Age 67, of Augusta, passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 20 ^th , 2021.  She was born Oct. 28, 1953 in Canton to Clarence and Betty (Cameron) Fowler. She graduated from Carrollton High School and worked for many years at Stearns and Foster.  She retired from Biery Cheese in Louisville. Sheila was a kind soul and always had a smile on her face. She was loved by many. She was an active member of the Augusta Christian Church for many years. She grew up in Augusta and loved spending time with her grandkids and always welcomed extra kids into her home. She ran the kitchen at the Augusta Strawberry Festival for over 20 years.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ronald Lee Dinger, daughter, Tiffany Faulk of Mechanicstown, 2 sons, Ronald (Erin) Dinger II of Carrollton, Gregory Dinger of Minerva, sister, Phyllis Vermeer of Canada, brother, Larry Fowler of East Rochester, 5 grandchildren, Jacob and Caleb Hollingshead, Emma Dinger, Hunter Slack and Tenley Schott and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a sister, Doris Keister and a brother, Clarence Fowler Jr. and a grandson, Cameron Schott.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Saturday, July 31 ^st at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor Jim Baston officiating. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services from 10-11 am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Augusta Fire Department.
