Sharon A. Shotwell

Age 70 of Minerva went back to be with her Lord on Saturday, November 11, 2023 in the Minerva Healthcare and Rehab center. She was born in Alliance, Ohio to the late Vincent and Margaret (McGuire) Scuro on April 14,1953. She is a graduate of St. Edward High School in Malvern, Ohio and is a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church. She was a loving, kind, gentle soul. Sharon loved to surprise people with gifts and cards and a kind word. She was loved by all who knew her. Sharon had a deep unwavering faith in her Lord Jesus, and prayed for everyone she knew, and loved. Her caring nature made her perfect to take care of the elderly when she was younger woman. And she was an inspiration to many people with her sobriety of 20 1/2 years.

She is survived by her two grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart Katelyn and Sean Killoran of FL, brother, James (Yvonne) Scuro of Minerva, sister, Kathy Hein of Minerva OH, brothers-in-law, Terry Parrish of Minerva OH, James Hutto of Augusta, OH, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bob and Janet Cyders of Ashland, and her daughter, Valerie Killorian, of Florida, and many nieces and nephews that were very dear to her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Shotwell, her in-laws Harry and Laberta Shotwell, and her much loved and deeply missed sisters, Bonnie Parrish and Mary Kay Hutto.

A Mass of the Christian burial will be Monday, November 20 at 11 AM in Saint Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva with Father Victor Cinson as celebrant.
