Sandy J. Doppelheuer

Age 66, of Minerva, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2026 in the Cleveland Clinic. She was born February 19, 1960 in Canton to the late Joseph Boman and Ora Jane (Polen) (Boman) Kinney and was raised by her grandmother, Elizabeth Polen. More than anything else, she was a “Mom” and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also was a licensed Real Estate Agent and member of the Minerva First Christian Church where she had been a former Deaconess, member of the Home Department, the choir and Bible Bowl Team. She graduated from Minerva High School in 1978, attended Kent State University and is a member of the Carroll Chapter #315 Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Doppelheuer whom she married June 27, 1980, daughter, Crystal (Reese) McCall of Syracuse, NY, son, Dan (Heather) Doppelheuer of Acworth, GA, sister, Suzy (Larry) Seidel of Cypress, TX and 4 grandchildren, Aryah, Adalyn, Cole and Chase.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 22nd at 1:00 p.m. in the Minerva First Christian Church with Mr. Chris Sanford and Mr. Zack Long officiating. Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Minerva First Christian Church.
