Sandra Jean Starr

Age 71, of Minerva, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2017 at Minerva Eldercare. She was born May 21, 1945 to Charles and Hazel (Raines) Reed. She was a homemaker and cook for Aultman Hospital and Anton's Restaurant. She was a graduated of Augusta High school in 1963. She was much loved and will be truly missed by many.

She is preceded in death by Rolland E. Starr who died in 1988, 4 sisters, 2 brothers and an infant granddaughter, Kara Grace Pitts. She is  survived by 5 children, Dawn (Martin) Hawkins and granddaughter, Amber Pitts of the home, Kevin (Shirley) Pitts of Minerva, Charles (Wendy) Pitts of Hanoverton, Shawn Pitts of Alliance, Eric (Tabitha) Pitts of Minerva, 7 grandchildren, Amber, Alisha, Brooke, Zackery, Johnathon, Travis & Leah, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be Thursday at 12 noon in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery. Calling hours will be 10 am to 12 noon, Thursday prior to services at the funeral home.
