Sandra R. Shick, age 71, of Paris, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012 in Aultman Hospital. She was born March 6, 1941 in Akron, Ohio to the late Elbert and Lennie (King) Hurd. She was retired from Bunker Hill Mobile Homes and Shick Manufactured Homes. She loved boating and fishing and especially attending her grandchildren's sporting events at the Minerva Schools.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Shick whom she married April 12, 1974; children, Renae (Dave) Gross of Paris, Jaynie (Mike) Brown of Uniontown, Kenneth Shick Jr. of Carrollton, Cathy (Danny) Maple of Carrollton, James Shick of Sunbury and Lorri (Jeff) Fairless of Canton; sister, Linda Smith of Akron; brother, Jim (Renee) Hurd of Stowe; 14 grandchildren, Wendy, Adam, Jennifer, Mitchell, Dana, Dale, Dustin, Danielle, Jeremy, Brandon, Nicole, Jodi, Mike and Bill, and 20 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Cheryl Shick and 3 brothers, Larry Hurd, Bob Hurd and Elbert Hurd, Jr.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Mike Gross and Mike Brown officiating. Calling hours will be held Thursday 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
