Ruthella M. Evanich, age 91, of Minerva, died Saturday, April 12, 2014 in the Alliance Community Care Center.  She was born March 2, 1923 in Canton, OH to Elvin and Erna (George) Stoner.  She was a housewife and co-owner of Evanich Farms. She was also a member of the Minerva United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Nicholas Evanich who died Oct. 29, 2007; a daughter, Patricia Stahl; a sister, Dorothy Bradley; a brother, Elvin "Ed" Stoner.  She is survived by a daughter, Peggy Evanich of Gainesville, FL; 2 sons, Rudy (Judy) Evanich and Gary (Barbara) Evanich both of Paris; a sister Grace (Jim) Thomas of Canton; 8 grandchildren, Nicholas (Andrea) Evanich, Marcy (Roger) Herstine, Lisa Evanich, Kenneth Stahl, Kristin Stahl, Ashley, Heather, and Melissa Evanich; and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday in Minerva United Methodist Church with Rev. Harley Wheeler officiating.  Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.
