Ruth E. Ecrement

Age 85, of Minerva, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022 in the Truman House in New Philadelphia. She was born June 5, 1937 in Mansfield to Clyde and Ida Virginia (Kilgore) Smith.  She was a beautician for many years, owning Ruth's Beauty Shop in East Rochester. She is a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva where she volunteered her time for many years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alton Ecrement who died in 2014, son, Rick Ecrement who died in 2020.  She is survived by a sister, Judy Massorro, brother, Mark Smith and a good friend, Robert Sebrell.

Following cremation, a graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am in East Lawn Cemetery in Minerva with Fr. Victor Cinson officiating.
