Ruth Ann Betz

Age 78, of Robertsville, passed away peacefully Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021 in Aultman Hospital. She was born Sept. 28, 1942 in Dover to Ralph and Florence (Major) Maurer. She had worked for Dover Molded and in the cafeteria at Aultman Hospital. She graduated from Sandy Valley High School in 1960.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Betz who died in 2011 and a son, John Potter in 1995. She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Potter of Louisville, 2 sons, Chris (Debbie) Potter of Hagerstown, MD, Kenneth (Amanda) Potter of Statesboro, GA, 2 stepdaughters, Penny and Tammy, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and her beloved cat, Bear.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 28 ^th at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Bob Hutton of Canton Baptist Temple officiating. Calling hours will be Friday from 6-8 pm and Saturday one hour prior to services at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Stark County Humane Society because of her love for all animals.
