Ruth E. Berresford

Age 80, of Hanoverton, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024 in the Arbors of Minerva. She was born Dec. 27, 1943 in Freeport to Lloyd and Ruth (McCann) Berresford.  She graduated from United High School and attended Rutgers University and Youngstown State University.  She had worked in real estate for Century 21 for a number of years, Worthington Plastics in Salem and other jobs throughout her life.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan (Rob) Slentz of Minerva, son, Rudolph (Jay) Sobotka of Lorain, 2 brothers, James (Claudia) Berresford of Brewster, Mark (Veronica) Berresford of East Rochester, 3 sisters-in-law, Margie Berresford of Kensington, Darlene Berresford of Columbus, Sherry Berresford of Kensington, 6 grandchildren; Alexandra (Kyle) Collins, Megan Belanger (Ricardo Diaz Diaz), Dustin and Jordan Berresford, Jessica (Jonathan) Brochu and Madison Berresford.  She is preceded in death by a son, Atlee Sergei Berresford, sister, Mary Ohls, 6 brothers, Lloyd Jr., Joseph, Michael, Thomas, Jerry and Robert Berresford.
