Russell A. Walker

Age 65, of East Rochester, passed away Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023 in his home surrounded by his family.  He was born Nov. 1, 1957 in Canton to Olen Walker of Paris and the late Lois (Smith) Walker. He retired from Regal Metal in Minerva where he had worked for 46 years.  He graduated from Minerva High School in 1976 and is a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in New Franklin.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Sonia (Stone) Walker whom he married Oct. 7, 1995, daughter, Jennifer L. Walker of East Canton, son, Daniel C. (Sonia) Walker of Paris, 2 stepdaughters, Tammy M. Fulk of Louisville, Toni L. Ward of Leetonia, stepson, Matthew W. Ward of Minerva, 2 sisters, Barbara (Frank) Tatka of Louisville, Andrea (Larry) Cowden of Gaffney, SC, 2 brothers, Charles (Lori) Walker of Malvern, Dale Walker of Hudson, 10 grandchildren, Leeann, Payton, Andrew, Xavier, Zaidyn, Cade, Addison, Asia, Connor and Cambryn.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 7:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating.  Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
