Rose Mary Swinger

Age 87, of Minerva, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018 in Minerva Eldercare. She was born April 4, 1930 in Summitville to Angelo and Marie (Dangelo) Sabatino. She graduated from Salineville High School. She worked in the cafeteria in Minerva Local Schools, Cunningham's Furniture and Sabatino's Restaurant. She was a member of the St. Gabriel Catholic Church where she was a member of the Catholic Women's Club.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William E. Swinger who died April 15, 2010; 2 brothers, Cardine and Dominic Sabatino. She is survived by a daughter, Lisa Swinger of Minerva; 2 sons, Tim (Jill) Swinger of Richmond, VA, Pat (Mary Ellen) Swinger of Fairview Park, OH; a sister, Eda (Sam) Scaia of Alliance; 2 brothers, Louis (Carol) Sabatino of Minerva, Eugene (Maxine) Sabatino of Minerva; 4 grandchildren, Anne Marie Soles, Mitch (Tori) Soles, Cade Soles and Clay Swinger.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with Fr. Victor Cinson as celebrant. Burial will be in the East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 3-6 pm on Sunday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with a Christian Wake service at 5:45 pm. Memorial Donations can be made the church.
