Ronald M. Perrine, age 60, of Minerva, died Sat., May 17, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. He was born Aug. 2, 1953 in Brownsville, PA to the late Calvin and Rosalie (Drews) Perrine. He was an oil rig operator having worked for Sherman Drilling for 21 years and recently with Tom Miller Construction. He attended the Methodist Church, was a 1971 graduate of Minerva High School and is a US Marine Veteran having served in Vietnam.

He is survived by a daughter, April Miller of Minerva; son, Andrew Miller of Richland; 3 sisters, Darlene (Leroy) Essick of Minerva, Linda (Gordon) Fisher of Syracuse, OH, Gladys Haines of East Rochester; brother, Calvin (Louise "Peewee") Perrine of Minerva; 5 grandchildren, Tallon, Bryce, Breck and Belle Miller and Callie Russell, many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and his dog companion, "Killer". He is preceded in death by a sister, Georgia Perrine and a grandson, Ridge Miller.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Burial with full military honors will be in Moultrie Chapel Cemetery.
