Rodney A. DeVore

Age 55, of Paris, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022. He was born Jan. 28, 1967 in Milford, Conn. to Shirley (Hill) (DeVore) Crawford of Minerva and the late Jerry DeVore. He was a contractor working in construction, roofing and pallets.  He graduated from Fairless High School and R. G. Drage Career Center.  He loved fishing, hunting and loving every day.  He even once killed a deer with his bare hands.  He was also a singer and a song writer.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancé, Angela Rossi, son Codey DeVore of Malvern, 2 daughters, Ashley McAtee of CA, Samantha DeVore of Dennison, 3 sisters, Cathy (Dennis) Knecht of Magnolia, Paula (Jeff) Yutzy of Canton South, Sharon (Jeff) Judy of Canton South, 6 brothers, Rick and Chris DeVore of Canton, Scott (Lesa) DeVore of Carrollton, Jeff (Sherri) DeVore of Mineral City, Todd DeVore of Canton and Dean Crawford of Malvern, 5 grandchildren, Jerry and Lillian DeVore, Amber and Ian Morrow, Archer Tullos, and 2 step children, Brian and Brandon Detchon. He is preceded in death by his father, a brother, Joe Hahn and his best friend, Jimmy Smith who died in December.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 6:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Jessie Ward officiating. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4-6 pm prior to services.
