Rodger K. Vandegrift
"Picture"
Age 75, of Cuyahoga Falls, died Thursday Aug. 15, 2013 in his home following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born Dec. 2, 1937 in New Franklin to Forrest and Roma (Bacon) Vandegrift. He retired from Wallace Foods where he was a salesman. He graduated from Malvern High School in 1955, was in the National Guard, and is a member of the Elks Lodge in Alliance and the Minerva Eagles Aerie #2199.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Nancy Kiko of Greenville, SC and Diana (Don) Sigmon of Akron, 7 grandchildren; Joanna, Stephanie and Natalie Sigmon, Danial Kiko, Anthony, Alex, and Nicholas Brewster, sister, Kay Vandegrift and brother, Larry Karlen and many good friends.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Wednesday Aug. 21 at 12 noon in Bethlehem Cemetery in Malvern.
