Rochelle "Chelle" Lucas
Age 46, of Minerva, died Friday, Aug. 12, 2016 in Aultman Hospital. She was born Aug. 2, 1970 in Canton to David Weese and Nellie (Cope) Weese. She was a dental assistant for Dr. Carl Peshoff. She is a member of the Minerva First Christian Church and graduated from Minerva High School in 1988. She was a wonderful giving person, a great mother, incredibly strong, loved animals and was looking forward to her first grandchild this fall.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Lucas who she married in Aug. 6, 1993; daughter, Reed Lucas of the home; 2 sons, Stefan Lab of Minerva, Taylor Lab of Paris; stepdaughter, Callie Lucas; mother, Nellie Weese of Minerva; father, David (Cindy) Weese of Minerva; sister, Jenni (Robert) Choe of Pittsburgh; brother, Chad (Cindy) Weese of Columbus; 4 step granddaughters; mother and father-in-law, Ed and Jane Gilmore of Scio and will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews. She was loved!
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Jason Mikes officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday 4-7 pm in the funeral home
